YOU made a difference!

If you were one of the people who made the effort to donate blood in 2025 at one or more of our blood drives, THANK YOU! According to the American Red Cross, donations were up after a 15 year decline.

Because of YOUR efforts last year, we were able to:

• Distribute over 6.5 million blood products to hospitals.
• Increase the donor base by 2% after 15 consecutive years of decline, with first-time donors growing by 5%.
• Achieve the best donor retention rate in over 30 years.
• Further diversify our donor base, which helps ensure the most compatible blood types are available for those who need it; we saw nearly 14,000 more donors who are Black or African American and 14,000 more donors from the Latino community.
• Achieve a new all-time high for Power Red donations, up almost 20% from 2024.
