What3words is a global addressing system that divides the world into 3-meter squares, assigning each a unique three-word address, used for precise location sharing, navigation, deliveries, and emergency services when normal addresses are absent or unclear. It’s popular for its simplicity, allowing anyone to find or share exact spots like park benches, remote trails, or building entrances using just three memorable words, functioning even offline with GPS.
