Graafschap FD partners with Laketown Parks & Rec to offer free CPR class at the Felt Mansion

CPR instructors from the Graafschap Fire Department are providing a FREE hands-only CPR and AED class on January 25th at 1:00 at the Felt Mansion, 6597 138th Ave, Holland, MI 49423.

Time is precious when waiting on first responders. If you have ever thought you would like to make a difference, but didn’t know how, this is your chance to learn a valuable skill. Hands-only CPR is just as it sounds.

The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends Hands-Only CPR because it’s just as effective as conventional CPR in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest. It’s also easier for bystanders to perform and can help save lives.

There are several spots left for the 1:00 class. Please send an email to Parks@laketowntwp.org to get your name on the list. Because the mansion will have other events that day, please enter at the kitchen service door near the generators on the north side of the building. The ballroom is on the 3rd floor.
