Fillmore Township voters support public safety levy
Last week, voters in Fillmore Township passed a five year, 2.0 mills levy to provide funds for fire and first response protection service.
Fillmore Township is covered by Graafschap Fire Department, Hamilton Fire Department, and Overisel Fire Department. Each department has a standing agreement to provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical response to the residents and visitors of Fillmore Township.

GFD received a statement from John Yonker, Fillmore Township Supervisor for this article:
“I want to thank the residents of Fillmore township for the continued support of our firefighters and their respective departments. Fillmore is great place to live, and having skillful and dedicated fire departments enhances the health and safety of the community. We appreciate and thank them for their quick response to rescue and fire incidents.”
