Emergency Alerts available to all Allegan County residents

Did you hear the emergency weather sirens on Sunday ? Neither did we! That’s because the North-West corner of Allegan County is lacking the outdoor warning infrastructure to be included in the alerts.

Allegan County Emergency Management announced late last week that they are introducing an “Allegan Alert” platform powered by Motorola Rave. See notice below:

Ironically, it was activated this past Sunday when the National Weather Service predicted winds up to 80 mph for our area. Alerts can come to your phone and/or email.
